3D game

Today we were working on our concept for our 3d game using photoshop. we went online looking for screenshots of any inspirations we see for our games, also we were shown marvel.com, were we can create our character or basic models for our game creations.

THE MUTANTS

This game is about a super hero called Fore Runner; he thinks that there is nobody else like him in the world. Fore Runner has the power of super speed, and uses weapons of choice, usually 2 batons. One day as Fore Runner was helping the police with a crime, downtown was being destroyed by a super villain who calls himself The Red Terror, he with the power of flight and the power of wind, was tearing up the ground and destroying buildings in search of technology for his ultimate weapon. Soon this rivalry will start epic proportions. This game is set in a present day city called Rachel; it's an action/adventure game. Your objectives in the game are too reach the destroyed part of Downtown and stop red terror. along the way I hope to have side missions available. There wont be any pickups or anything around to help you defeat your enemy,

This is a football game for online use where you play as an under aged youth player working his way up the foot balling ladder. you can train for matches in techniques such as volley's over head kicks and headers. you can also manage your personal life on the outside world, go to the pub cinema or a cheap resturant. doing these things will get you caught in the public eye which depending on your actions will either annoy or please your manager. playing in matches is tough you have to impress game in and game out, if not you risk being dropped from the team and thus becoming a free agent. I was very impressed with this game, it provides you with a challenge which is beatable, you have many options on what to do in matches and on the training ground. the personal life  is a really nice touch and the consequences that follow are also good. overall this is probably the best football game on the net at the moment. i would give it a 9/10 great game.

Feedback

Well i have no need to dance around the obvious fact that i didn't complete my game. so feedback had a bit of a pattern which i already new except now its written down in paper for me to remind me of my own laziness. However people were generally happy with my menu since it was the only thing that was fully complete and working. Glitches.... well i didnt have any because of the lack of levels, and suggestions all where the same, make a game.

Evaluation of my game

Well to be plain, i need to improve greatly on time management and organisation, i  didn't get complete my 2d game, nor did i even get to create my graphics for the game. though this is my first assignment of the year and hopefully i can improve alot of the remainder of the college year. i did learn how to use scratch but still having problems with photoshop, for general brainstorming ideas i was very good at this perhaps too much because i usually got carried away or distracted, loosing my focus and again loosing more time on my assignment.

Stranded

I have finally completed my menu screen, now looking for some sprites to use in my game. any tips where i can find some, would be very appreciative.

about my game

If anyone has any tips on what they would like to see in my game, all advice would be appreciated. game inspiration would alien breed, my game will be similar to it in terms of style.

Sranded

Stranded is the name of my first 2d game. It's about a lone special ops soldier sent into space to find out what has happened to the crew of the International Space station orbiting earth. Things go from bad to worse, as you captain John Sargent begin to find the missing crew. Their deaths are not from accidents but from assaults, either something drove the crew insane, or there something else lurks on board waiting to get its next victim..Stay tuned for the final product. This game is inspired by alien breed, so expect it to be dark, lot of action and good fun. This is a top down shooter wit graphics similar too alien breed of old and the classic zelda game.
